My Travel Diary : Last Day In Geelong Thursday, February 19, 2015 2:01 AM | 0 notes
Sorry for the long overdue travel post, so sad that my trip to Melbourne has come to the end. Awww =( So before I fly back to Malaysia I spent my last day in Geelong. It's one of my fav places in Melbourne, the second most populated area in Melbourne. Johnny and his friends planned to have a small barbecue party before I back. (that's really sweet)
The place was like in another paradise!!! It was a windy day, and we're almost freezing especially when the sun goes down. But I really enjoy walking in a place like this, it can help you open mind.
Such a perfect place for families, outdoors time together, chatting & etc.
They even provide barbecues and picnic tables. I guess this is hardly to find in Malaysia.
WHAT FACE IS THAT ?!
Ohh yea, this is one of my fav shoots in Melbourne, special thanks to my model Stanley. LOL
Just a quick post for today, I wish I could write more but I'm rushing out to the door. Gotta rush to airport at 4 am. And yeah it's 2 am right now. No time to sleep at all. I loved this place, definitely will come backkk here. Fingers crossed, I really wish I could come back in the near future.
My Travel Diary : The White Beach Paradise | Boracay Sunday, January 25, 2015 3:32 PM | 1 notes
Some of you may know I flew to Boracay last month if you follow my FB and Insta. Boracay is a small island in Philippines, it's still quite new to everyone but I think it has rapidly become the top tourist draw in Philippines. I'm so excited when Airasia announced that they've added a new island paradise destination, so now getting to this beautiful island from Malaysia is as easy as one-two-three. Yayyy!
The airasia flights will be direct from Kuala Lumpur to Kalibo airport. We reached the airport around 2pm and we were stuck in the Kalibo airport for almost 2 hours while waiting their staff check our passports. (because they only provided two counters) So good luck to you! As you step out from the airport, you will spot many tour operators offer various packages consisting of bus or van to Caticlan Jetty and ferry to the island. It took us another 2 hours bus transfer to the jetty and 15 mins of ferry's ride away to the island. And yeah, is like finally we've reached our destination.
We stayed at Henann Garden Resort for 3 nights, and everything was great. The only point that they need to be improve is the WIFI. They only offering the free wifi in the lobby area and even there's not working very well. =( Well, I'll share more about our hotel in the upcoming post.
So after breakfast, we decided to go to the beach for a stroll. Our hotel can access to the beach through a short corridor. Only 3-5 mins a short walk to the beach.
Blue skies with perfect white clouds.
This place reallyyyyyy stole my heart.
Boracay is seperated into three districts, Station 1,2 and 3. Most of the luxurious hotels are located in Station 1, such a perfect place for relaxation. And the station 2 is the main shopping and dining center of Boracay Island. If you want to avoid crowd, you can choose station 3, the sleepiest part of the beach.
Headed to the diving site in the afternoon. I did have diving experience in Bali before, but this is my very first time helmet diving experience. Our guide started with a small briefing, hand signals and what to do underwater. It's because we can't talk once immersed underwater. The basic hand signals like go up and down, okay or not okay.
The helmet itself is 25 kilos above, but it will gets lighter as we move down. So, not to worry about the weight. Just have to breath normally because the water will not get into our helmet. Our packages which is also included a DVD with video and pictures. Remember to smile while underwater, the divers will help you take tons of photos and video.
Time for paraw sailing to catch the sunset!!!
Sailing a paraw at sunset is a popular tourist activity, is a MUST DO activity in Boracay.
It's actually a typical Philippino double outrigger sailboat. And passengers will sit on the outriggers. I know it look a bit scary but trust me this's really fun. It's absolutely indescribable experience.
Such a good way to relax and enjoy the warm evening ocean breeze.
I just couldn't stop my finger to press the 'photo' button, this is because our captain is just too handsome. Well, actually Tracy requested for it (the one who flashing the V sign). LOL
How I wish I could freeze time and live in this moment forever.
Golden hour!
Enjoying our last hour of sun! Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it.
My Travel Diary : The Colourful Brighton Beach Wednesday, December 17, 2014 10:01 PM | 0 notes
Since we didn't spent much time in Melbourne city, Johnny & I decided back to the city for the last remaining day. Queen Victoria Market has been the heart and soul of Melbourne, definitely one of the tourist attraction.
Queen Victoria Market is quite similar to those open market (we called it pasar pagi) in Malaysia. The only different is this is much cleaner. It opens from 6am - 2pm (closed on Mon & Tues).
Johnny and I decided to have our first meal at here. Saw many people have been queuing up for a soup stall. So I picked a pumpkin soup for myself. (the best pumpkin soup eva)
I just can't get enough of the local blue mussels. This is a must try food in Queen Victoria Market. How I wish my stomach was big enough to try all of it. Huhu...
We had a great leisurely walk around here. Such a great place to get food and souvenirs.
Then we have some extra time to explore the city after our breakfast. If you lazy to walk around, you may try using tram to explore the city, a good way to mingle with locals.
Next stop - Brighton Beach, a bit far from the city but definitely a place worth for a visit. You can take train from Flinders Street Station on the Sandringham line straight to Brighton Beach Station. This place is famous because of the iconic bath houses.
While on my way to the beach, I saw many local residents taking their dogs for walk in this area.
Spot some beautiful houses with special designed just right behind the beach. The house owner must be interested in astronomy, cause there's a telescope behind the middle of glass windows.
Oh my goodness, I want a house like thisss.
Brighton Beach, it's an oceanside neighborhood in the southern portion of the NYC borough of Brooklyn. It has been transformed into a Russian enclave, also known as Odessa by the sea, also called "Little Odessa".
It took about 20 mins to walk from station to beach, but after arrived, it just paid off. It was freezing cold that day and windy, I almost blown away. lol
You ain't gonna see hot sexy bodies here (because it's winter) but you have to sit at here and enjoy the sunset. I came here just because of these colorful bathing boxes. All boxes are quaint and well maintained. Everyone of them is a good background for photos.
My simple OOTD, super love this jacket! I bought it from Taiwan which only cost me about 100 bucks. It's thick enough to keep me warm in this winter.
He's trying to act cool but failed. LOL
Nothing much to do here actually except for photography. We had a gale of time for photographing at here. And please remember come around 5pm to avoid the crowd. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and the last Melbourne entry is coming soon. Stay tuned.

The first thing which I can record concerning myself is, that I was born. These are wonderful words. This life, to which neither time nor eternity can bring diminution - this everlasting living soul, began. For my part, I consider that it will be found much better by all parties to leave the past to history, especially as I propose to write that history myself. I never think of myself as an icon. What is in other people's minds is not in my mind. I just do my thing.
