My Travel Diary : Way To Ballarat Thursday, September 18, 2014 1:31 PM | 0 notes
On my third day in Melbourne, my cousin Johnny decided bring me to explore Ballarat. Ballarat is a city where located on the Yarrowee River and lower western plains of the Great Dividing Range in the State of Victoria. A place where you can discover the rich history and explore Ballarat as well as the famous attraction Sovereign Hill, such a place where you can tour the underground mines, ride a stagecoach and pan for gold.
10-15C the weather was just perfect. It just feel like stepping back in time to 1980s. The town remain a perfect historic recreation.
The place was well maintained and refurbished back to the olden days.
As you can see everyone is in character and they really play their parts well.
He's the one who arranged our tour, when he asked me, "where you wanna go?", I answered him "It's all up to you". I'm like throwing back the question to him. lol Johnny & I mapped our day, I must admin he's a good tour guide. (always the last minute tour guide)
It was a great experience, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip. If you wanna experience being in the different century or try something different, you may consider to join this trip.
That's all for today. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did. See ya.
Open Times
Gold Museum
9.30am - 5.30pm everyday except X'mas day
Sovereign Hill
10am - 5pm everyday except X'mas day

The first thing which I can record concerning myself is, that I was born. These are wonderful words. This life, to which neither time nor eternity can bring diminution - this everlasting living soul, began. For my part, I consider that it will be found much better by all parties to leave the past to history, especially as I propose to write that history myself. I never think of myself as an icon. What is in other people's minds is not in my mind. I just do my thing.
