My Travel Diary : The City of Melbourne Friday, October 24, 2014 12:50 PM | 0 notes

It's been awhile since my last post about my travel diaries. I've been quite busy for my work and assignment recently. Back to college life in this October, and i still can't accept that my unstructured life is over.

Let's go back to my road trip in Melbourne now, another long post here. We actually didn't have a proper plan for the fourth day, when cousin asked me to get ready and going to have a party night with his friends, like finally I got a chance to experience their night life. Wootz it is absolutely fun. I'll tell you more later...

Early in the morning (should be afternoon lol) Johnny dragged me to this awesome cafe just close to his college. A good breakfast can change your whole day, with handsome coffee barista is another added BONUS. lol

I'm so grateful and appreciate that Johnny took his busy time out when I'm in Melbourne.

My cutest sunglasses, can't leave the house without them. Not really sure whether you know that I invest a lot in sunglasses. Hmm..

Johnny (my cousin) know me too well, he know that I love photography pretty much, and he said "Come I show you something very special in Geelong". Photos were taken late in the evening. One of the most beautiful churches I've been to - St Mary of The Angels Basilica.

It is located at Yarra St. It is the tallest building in Geelong at a total height of 210ft from the pavement. It all began on 27 Nov 1842, over the years St Mary has grown and today is certainly one of the finest churches in Victoria.

It really looks like scene from movies

It was a glorious day, before we leaving this beautiful church, I just can't stop taking photos around that area, and here's my favourite one. Imagine we could spend every evening like this...

Tadaa~ doll eyes make up look achieved. This is so nottt me.

Start from the left, Sam, Kau Chek, Deborah, Marcus, Angelina, Dyone and the camera man Johnny. Oh great that I remember all their names. What I enjoy the most is travelling to different places and meet new friends. Everyone has a story to tell, I love hearing their stories and being inspired.

Took train to Melbourne city from Geelong, it would be the most easiest way to get to city. The train ride is about 1 hour plus.

That night was an incredible night. Last but not least, selfie with my dear Angelina in the hotel before we headed to club.

Talk about my first club experience in Melbourne, that club isn't really a dance club, the place was superb packed. And yeah, that night was Asian night, so you know my feeling. (sobsob) T,T

The next day, this is how Melbourne city look during daytime. (taken from my hotel room)

Aww~ She's so cute.

If you just want a bed and a shower then stay in Tune Hotel is the right choice, it's located right of the city, very close to CBD public transport and major shopping complex. It's good value for money, small but clean, so don't raise your expectation too high.

When you are in Melbourne, trams are an easy way to see on the road. The Melbourne tramway network is a major form of public transport in Melbourne, it is the world's third largest tram network.

"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going" Right?

Dropped into Krimper cafe for brunch together with Angel and her friends.  The cafe itself is a little hard to find, it's hidden in a lane near Melbourne central. But once you've found it, it's definitely worth a return visit. Such a lovely place to spend. The place is quite big so you wont be feeling so squashed here.

Just can't get enough of this place, especially their old elevator doors. Pretty cool right ?

Patterned like top models here. LOLLL

Our next stop - Yarra Bridge, if you're in city of Melbourne, you definitely can't miss out this awesome footbridge with love padlock all around the bridge strings.

Melbourne is rich with art and culture. There're many hidden art works tucked around street corner. Many surprises are waiting for you to discover.

Such a perfect place to take stunning portraits. Wee~

Selfie time with my best cousin Johnny.

"Thank you for treating me like a princess"

I'd posted exactly the same sentence in my Insta. just in case, he didn't check my latest Insta picture, so I've to posted it again here. (I know he's one of my reader) LOLLL

Our day tour ended perfectly with some hot drinks in a cold weather. Such a calm relaxing day I ever had. Pheww.. still got two more posts to go. I hope I can finish it in month of November. Stay tuned!
